iFS LaserThe team at Kleiman | Evangelista Eye Center is proud to be the first LASIK practice in Tarrant County to offer the world's latest advancement in LASIK technology: the iFS™ Advanced Femtosecond laser. This innovative laser system, developed by Advanced Medical Optics and approved by the FDA in May of 2008, offers patients a more accurate procedure during creation of the LASIK flap, the first step in the LASIK process that allows surgeons access to the cornea.



Unprecedented speed and accuracy offers each patient a completely customized procedure tailored specifically to his or her individual cornea. This in turn allows Drs. Kleiman and Evangelista to more accurately deliver a LASIK procedure with the opportunity for optimal vision results. The iFS laser system also enhances vision results, but reduces any potential minimal discomfort during creation of the LASIK flap and during post-operative recovery for a virtually painless procedure.

The iFS IntraLase laser system also allows Drs. Kleiman and Evangelista more control during creation of the LASIK flap. A video microscope captures high-resolution digital images of the cornea and features touch screen magnification and optically projected, software controlled centration throughout the flap creation process. This revolutionary laser system also allows for a significantly higher-quality, smoother surface on which the laser performs the vision correction, delivering a more accurate and effective LASIK procedure and providing opportunity for improved visual outcomes.
