ReZoom™ - Kleiman Evangelista Eye Center

The VisianTM ICL is a revolutionary new solution for people suffering from moderate to severe myopia (nearsightedness). FDA-approved in 2005, the Visian ICL is essentially a permanent contact lens that is implanted inside the eye. It is a great option for individuals that are not candidates for, or would prefer not to have, the LASIK procedure.

Visian™ ICL - Kleiman Evangelista Eye Center

Benefits of Visian ICL

  • Great results: can provide the freedom to see without classes or contacts.
  • Maintenance-free: permanent solution to annoying contact lenses.
  • Removable: can be removed if results are inadequate, although patients rarely request to do so.
  • Invisible: cannot be seen by the naked eye
  • Minimally invasive: implanting is fast and virtually painless.

How well does the Visian ICL work?
In a three-year FDA clinical trial, the Visian ICL proved remarkably accurate:

  • 99% of Visian ICL patients were either satisfied or highly satisfied
    with their visual outcomes.
  • 98.3% of patients were able to drive a car without the need for
    any corrective eyewear.
  • After the Visian ICL procedure, the correction was stable and did not
adjust during the post-operative follow-up period.
  • The instances of halos, glare, night vision problems, double vision
and night driving difficulties remained unchanged from prior to the
    procedure.
